Richard lives in Bracknell Berkshire. Together with his wife Claire Sharp, they developed the walking guide app and website iFootpath that was acquired by AllTrails LLC in 2019. The more than 1,300 iFootpath walking guides were admired for their detailed directions and beautiful photographs that helped walkers successfully navigate the routes. The role allowed Richard to capture pictures across the breadth of the country.
More recently Richard has been building on his photography skills to develop stand-alone photography business, RW Jemmett, selling images as prints and through other channels such as microstock (Shutterstock, Dreamstime, Pond5, Canstock, Adobe Stock etc). His favourite genre include architecture, vintage, landscapes and abstract.
Richard has created and managed several other websites including Nature Bathing, Photo Walk UK and What Classic Car
