Virtually all desktop scanners can create TIFF images. This format, which uses the .tif extension, supports CMYK, RGBRGB (Red Green Blue) is an additive colour model in which red, green and blue light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colours for representation and display as images on computers and other digital devices., Lab, and grayscale files with alpha channels and Bitmap files without alpha channels.
