Overview
The Canon Sure Shot M, Prima mini in Europe (Autoboy F in Japan) was a very successful and very compact camera, launched in 1993. An autodate version was available.
Features and Operation
ts main features are:
- 32mm F3.5 Canon lens, 3 elements in 3 groups, min. focus 0.45m
- ShutterEither mechanical and/or electronic shutters are possible. Mechanical systems can use a leaf (or iris) shutter or curtain shutter. In digital cameras a third alternative is also possible: the electronic shutter. This works by activating and then deactivating the CCD so that no further light can be recorded, regardless of whether light is hitting the CCD. The shutter controls the exposure time, which can range from thousandths of a second to several minutes or more. Fast shutter speeds freeze action, slow speeds are more suited to stationary subjects. A tripod is recommended for slow exposure shots to avoid camera shake, or IBIS. More speeds 2s-1/250s, same with slow-sync flash, 1/60s-1/250s with normal flash
- Size 120x62x38, Weight 180 gr.
- DX code ISOInternational Organization for Standardization represents the film’s (or sensors) sensitivity to the light. The higher the number, the more information will be captured. 400 ISO film is more sensitive to light than 200 ISO film by 1 stop. 25 – 3200, auto wind, AE, self-timer, flash off, flash on, slow sync

AutofocusAutofocus (AF) is an optical system that uses a sensor, a control system and a motor to focus on an automatically or manually selected point or area. The process of autofocusing generally works as follows: • An autofocus processor (AFP) makes a small change in the focusing distance.
• AFP reads the AF sensor to assess whether and by how much focus has improved.
• Using the information from (2), the AFP sets the lens to a new focusing distance.
Autofocus systems can be found on film and digital cameras. More is very reliable. There are no features except the very useful flash buttons. All the rest is automatic. It has a very good lens, hence good picture quality. It also has slow shutterEither mechanical and/or electronic shutters are possible. When it was released, it was a top quality camera.
The round and very slim design is similar to the OlympusOlympus introduced its first camera in 1936, the Semi-Olympus I, fitted with the first Zuiko-branded lens. The first innovative camera series from Olympus was the Pen, launched in 1959. The half-frame format, allowing 72 pictures of 18 × 24 mm format on a standard 36-exposure roll of film, made Pen cameras compact and portable for their time.
