Pixel More LT Zoom 105 is a compact weatherproof 35mm point and shoot camera. It is fully automatic compact aimed at travellers requiring a good-looking point and shoot with a zoom lens. I may use the Panorama setting but the date function is not something I would use now. It has a strangely ‘steampunk’ styling and I am not sure whether I like it or not. The lens is protected by a cap that flips open when the camera is switched on. You need to flip it back when you turn it off again.
The camera is powered by a CR123A battery which can be easily obtained – for example Amazon.
What’s in the Box?
I bought the camera from eBay and received just the camera no manual, etc. It was well packaged. As you will see from the design it does not need a case. So I am happy with what I bought. At the same time, I bought a couple of batteries – CR123A – from Amazon so I was able to pop them in and fire it up as they say.
I was so pleased to hear the motors whirl and the lens pop out. Everything appeared to be working. The only downside was that the camera smells of cigarette smoke – maybe that adds to the 1990s authenticity (or not!).
Is it in Good Condition?
It looks to be in great condition and working. The lens is clear and the panorama button/slider is functioning. I like the look of this small camera that will easily fit in my pocket and it looks like another great OlympusOlympus introduced its first camera in 1936, the Semi-Olympus I, fitted with the first Zuiko-branded lens. The first innovative camera series from Olympus was the Pen, launched in 1959. The half-frame format, allowing 72 pictures of 18 × 24 mm format on a standard 36-exposure roll of film, made Pen cameras compact and portable for their time. Pixel More camera to enjoy. I have a roll of Fuji 200 36 exp, so I will load this and hopefully enjoy the motorised film loading and re-winding. It is a similar size to both the Olympus Pen EE and the Olympus TG6.
The specification of this camera is similar to the Yashica EZ Zoom 105.
